How many ways can you use a neck tie? Well, I have a couple easy ways to refashion those ties into something you would love to wear :)
This refashioning project transformed a 3XL Tall men's dress shirt into a dress. This shirt was from my local thrift store and I purchased it for only 99 cents....what a bargain :)

Skirt up-side-down worn as a dress |
This is a "no sew" refashioning project. I simply turned a long skirt upside down and used the slits from the bottom hem as my v-neck front and back. Placed a safety pin discreetly under the the two pieces of hem at the shoulders to create my arm holes. See a step-by-step tutorial at www.youtube.com/fashiontoppings.
Once again, a thrift store refashioning. I can't get enough of doing these refashioning projects. If you haven't checked out your local thift store, you don't know what your missing. Save money, and be creative.....a new outfit is waiting for you to make it your own :) See how I did this at
www.youtube.com/fashiontoppings . Happy Thrifting!

Hello "Refashionistas"
I'm excited to start my new blog page that will focus on refashioning old, out of style, or just plain boring clothes into something new and trendy. It's all about saving money and recycling clothes that are begging to get a "make-over". Join me each week as I take something old and make it into something fun and new. To a see step-by-step tutorial on how I did my "refashioning" you can go to www.youtube.com/fashiontoppings
